3. Impact

At Shinfield St Mary’s, most children are enthusiastic about learning in computing and are confident in the use of technology. They are able to discuss the use of technology and the ways in which it can support their learning across the curriculum. They explore the impact technology has on our everyday lives and it’s many uses in society. The skills that are taught in computing lessons are reinforced through other curriculum subjects and have enabled most students to become more independent in their ability to choose the ways in which to use technology in any situation, often sharing their discoveries with one another as they learn.
