In order to interact with the world and all members of our diverse and rich community, children need to be able to communicate their ideas and their understanding clearly and confidently. This means that understanding, mastering and enjoying language for communication and expression is one of the most important skills to teach our children. Without language we have no voice. Our vision is centred around interaction with our community in order to make an impact and as such we have infused our English curriculum with robust progression in skills development, rich oral language and carefully modelled writing structures. We strive for Excellence and with excellent English skills we can ensure we empower, encourage, engage, show empathy, strive for equality and enjoy our learning to have an impact on the world.
