Extra-Curricular Activities
204 of different children attended Extra-Curricular Sports Clubs (2022-23)
I went to my first club this year and I loved it! I learnt how to serve a shuttle in badminton. I can play with my mum now!
Year 3 child
Each week, we provide a variety of clubs that are free to attend for all abilities and ages. We pride ourselves on providing ‘sport for all’, aiming to ensure that every child in the school attends one or more lunchtime or after-school clubs over the year. Your child is required to wear their normal PE kit for all after-school sports clubs. If the club is on the field, then they can bring boots, which are highly advised when the ground is uneven and slippery. Joggers and/or jumpers are, of course, allowed if the weather is bad. Please make sure your child has practised putting on boots, as staff have often found themselves tying up many pairs of laces, thus wasting valuable training time for everyone.
